| Description The little village of Tzum is situated between the historic Frisian towns of Bolsward and Franeker. At Tzummerhof farm you are magnificently accommodated in an 80 sq. m. apartment which the owners built themselves in the former stable. The apartment consists of a living-room/kitchen and a double bedroom. You can have bed and breakfast or room only. Surrounding area Tsjom, as the Frisian residents call their village, is in a fairly central position in the province. Whether you want to visit the Frisian capital Leeuwarden, the coast of the IJssel Lake or the Gaasterland woods, it takes no time to get there. There are also many interesting attractions easily accessible in the immediate vicinity of Tzum. How about the beautiful centuries-old ‘terp’ villages, or the Wieuwert mummies? If you like cycling, you can take advantage of the green open countryside with its beautiful farmhouses. |

From North Holland:
Drive to the IJsselmeer Dam. After the Dam stay on the A7 (Bolsward).

From the centre of the country:Drive in the direction of Joure.
Stay on the A7 (Sneek/Bolsward) in the direction of the IJsselmeer Dam.

General:
Take the Bolsward exit (no.17) and immediately follow the N359 towards Leeuwarden. After approximately 15 km take the turning to Tzum.
Just before the start of the village turn left into Slotwei.Tzummerhof is the first farm on your right.
Turn right on to the track to reach the property.
